Elderberries contain organic acids (malic and tartaric), and significant amounts of vitamin C, vitamin E, and particularly vitamin B1. In addition to containing vitamins, it contains a high proportion of potassium. It is a rich source of biologically active polyphenol compounds, especially anthocyanins (responsible for the characteristic color of elder berries) which are proven to have a preventive effect in cardiovascular disease and cancer.
Ingredients: mashed elder berries; organic brown sugar, gelling substance – apple pectin, acidity regulator – citric acid. 100 grams of the final product are made from 55 grams of fruit. Total Sugars: 45 grams of sugar per 100 grams of product.
